The dagger you see below is a one of a kind covert thumb dagger. The idea comes from easily concealed weapons used by spies and covert operators during WWII. A great page to read on covert edged weapons is Don Rearic's page- http://www.donrearic.com/covertweapons.html . The dagger below was hand forged out of ball bearing steel and personally crafted by Kirk. It's sharp, functional, and has a weighty feel. I made the Kydex sheath for ease of concealment when I was deployed. I also carried it in my "Bug Out" bag when flying.
Kirk has a winner here. He's donated five of them, all now in the hands of warriors fighting the War on Global Terrorism. So far the feedback has been absolutely stellar. I think there may be a future for the "T-Rexroat". (My moniker for the dagger)
CHECK THIS OUT !!!!!!!!
The knife in the picture is a prototype from Kirk Rexroat for Al Mar Knives- I have it in my gun powder stained hands and let me tell you..."I think it's going to be a winner!" I can't tell you any of the specs out of respect for both of my friends. If Kirk and Al Mar marry this up with a " multi-function" Kydex ,quick lock sheath that also converts to a neck sheath....they'll fly off the shelves. The business end of the knife is laser sharp, it handles nicely with the blade up or down. The Commander is a Joe Cominolli work of art. It shoots as well as it looks but make no mistake about it....it's all business. Thanks fellas....
